| It seems to be the season for posting wishlists, and it seems everyone wants something non-materialistic that no one can really give them. For me, my biggest wish is to have no worries, if only just over break. Probability of attainment? Next to zero. With college apps due just around the corner and vacationing outside the country with a huge group of people, things are bound to go wrong. Will I ever be as carefree as I used to be? I wish I were Peter Pan so I'd never have to grow up, but even he has Captain Hook to worry about ...

| The first holiday in what seems like forever, and the most relaxation, and yet francticness and hecticness and fun I've had in a long time. The weekend started kinda slow after school on Wednesday. Got home at 1:30 after finding out many errors in my personal statements from Mr. Weathers and started cleaning my room. Now this never works for one main reason, which is I get caught up in the stuff I find while I'm cleaning. Last time I ended up reading my myth from freshmen year and this time I found a teach yourself to knit CD.
So from 2:00 until dinner time, I learned how to crochet and I started making a purse, which I finished the next day after many frustrations and gave it to my mom for her birthday. Thanksgiving was kinda interesting, I played tennis for the first time in years. I think Ryan and I were relearning lessons from years ago, like how to hold a racquet, how to hit the ball, etc. but it was still fun, though I'm still sore. No Thanksgiving dinner that night, actually no dinner I think, but all's good, cause I woke up at three in the morning to go to Best Buy! Picked up Alfred and Alvin at 4 and got in line, played cards with frozen fingers and waited for the store to open at 5. Dunno if it was worth it or not, but I got myself a new camera to replace the one that Ryan and lost and got him a new camcorder cause he lost the battery to the old one.

Oh, and I found my Moby Dick book! So Ryan can't say I lose as many things as him (cause I lost my Henrik Ibsen book from the summer reading). I also got a couple 2 GB SD cards for all those electronic products we have these days. The lines were super long and Theingi came around once in awhile to hang out with us in line, lol. Got to know some cool people in line, too bad I didn't get their names, they're probably on Facebook! Haha, anyway, my mom picked us up. She had been in line for Circuit City, but at 6:00 she still wasn't inside so she went to JC Penney. After Best Buy, my mom and I went to Macy's and got a Fossil purse for $20 and went to Target to pick up some iLamps for christmas gifts (I hope Jason doesn't read this, =P). After that went to Kohl's and got some good deals on sterling silver pendants, even $10 back! I think we called it quits after that and went to pick up Ryan. Got to hang out with some church girls while waiting for the football game to end and afterwards went to eat a late and much needed lunch.
Sunday was just as fun, went downtown this time with Bernadette after hitting Jo-Anns at 8 in the morning. First, went to the Jessica McClintock outlet and we got humongous deals on dresses. I picked up a black and gold dress for $20 and a white one for $8. Then we went to H&M and Westfield to look around. I like H&M but I couldn't bring myself to buy anything cause they were all full price, not that full price at H&M is very much anyway. Bernadette had no trouble overcoming that, =D. Maybe I'll drag my mom downtown sometime. I did get a little coin purse though for $7. Westfield was super crowded, Bernadette says I'm not aggressive enough, haha. It was fun walking around even though we couldn't really buy anything there so we headed home. Went to Angela's sweet sixteen dinner at 5 and had a fun with my new camera. Got some really moded pics of people, haha, and ate good food. Allister brought a cake and the restaurant people brought it out with candles, but right afterwards, Angela's mom pops out with another cake. Carin and I ate the second cake cause Allister bought a mocha one, but I think we were all so full that we couldn't really eat much anyway. Afterwards, we got up to make room for David's party and went shopping. I got a necklace to match the dress I bought that morning and a christmas gift for Ryan. Got home at 10:30 and crashed. Now I think I better get some homework done before the family Thanksgiving dinner tonight. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Thank you so much for being in my life!
P.S. I just found out today that Acceptance did their AOL Sessions thing on my 16th birthday. =) Thank you for making awesome music!

| Andy Warhol, have you predicted the future? Of all things, Prison Break (and biology) gave me my five minutes of fame. I expected biology, but never in the world would I have expected TV dramas to do anything for me besides waste my time. Wondering what I'm talking about? Watch channel 4 at 12 noon on November 18. Lost by 30 points! I wish we could have a rematch, but maybe we'll have another chance. Hopefully! =D | | |
| Xanga seems to be dying a slow, agonizing death as people slowly switch over to the ever growing Facebook. When I first got my facebook, there were like less than 10 kids from Westmoor there and now there's like 80. And by agonizing, I mean that it seems that posts here in xanga seem to becoming more and more unread and uncommented on. I guess it's because it's so much easier to simply worry about inside comments and pokes than to post interesting, meaningful reading digest, not saying that anything I write is in anyway meaningful because it's most often random life updates and other ramblings, but I do enjoy the meaningful content that other people post. And for that reason I'm not going to give up on xanga yet, though Facebook is becoming increasingly addicting. Facebook is fun | | |

--EDIT--
I forgot that we're also selling magazine subscriptions for $13 each. If you already subscribe to magazines such as Time, Newsweek, Seventeen, Popular Science or anything, you can still buy a subscription and the new issues will be added on the end of your existing subscription. Or, you can give the subscriptions as gifts because you don't choose the magazine at the time of purchase, but rather when you receive the magazine voucher.

Remember the yummy cookie dough that everyone bought last year? The ones that you just scoop and bake and last for a year in your freezer? The 3 lb. tubs that make like 100 cookies? Yes, those cookies are back!
If you want to order some but won't see me for awhile, let me take your order anyway because this sale only lasts for a week and I need 8 by Wednesday (crazy, huh?) so if you actually do want to buy some anyway, comment back or email me at erpartlan@yahoo.com. I check my email like three times an hour, lol.
This sale is for our band and most of the profits go towards new equipment for the percussion and auxillary sections of our marching band.
